You have converted an easy to use tool into a nightmare. I have been trying to get my system back to work for two days and I still can't. Thanks for messing it up!!!

Why are this coming with VS2008 and .NET3.5 only. I hope server side has this extension installed or upgraded automatically. I'm having hard time to figure out which web server needs for update on Ajax control's for asp.net website.

Total nightmare to work with if you don't have a dirt simple site. Impossible to debug and the .net 2 version is no longer supported.
Overall it's a buggy bloated pig and I'd rather use jQuery.

Works fine in VS2005 sp1 on the .NET 2.0 Framework. Did have to fiddle around with the assemblies, and update all the web.configs for old proj.

This messed up my Web Project!!!
It upgrades your System.Web.Extensions and System.Web.Extensions.Design to version 3.6.0.0 and now my project will not run or compile because it says there is an ambiguous reference (between version 3.5 and 3.6)
These 3.6 versions are now in my GAC and I CANNOT get them out!!
DO NOT USE THIS IF YOU PLAN TO USE NORMAL ASP.NET TOO!

Good features, but concerned that ASP is losing ground to other development platforms. For example, the double slider is good, but there are better to be had with Scriptaculous. The slider collision is not so good in that one slider disappears under the other. Any easy fixes? I've been trying to make it work all day.

Great realease thanks. Probably one of the easiest things I have installed in quite a while, so shouldn't be seeing any complaints about that ;-)

No real fixes that I needed this time around. Perhaps if you all fixed the show-stopping flaws I've documented to date, I'd consider coming back. Unfortunately, there's no response (despite votes affirming the bugs). For an "open source" project, it's pretty pathetic. Nice try, but I'll stick to other better supported open source projects.

2 minutes, downloaded, unzipped, installed. You can watch the video provided for installing and starting.... http://www.asp.net/learn/ajax-videos/video-76.aspx
or simply unzip the package to a designated location, and add the AjaxControlExtender.vsi file to your project, and...
POOF! It's that easy.
Please, read before you rant.

Many Kudos on a great release! If you rated this a single star because you had trouble installing the software codeplextrl maybe you should attempt an interesting career in pc repair. Shame on you for putting down a great suite of tools so freely given. Seriously, this is for software developers, go take a look at Microsoft Expressions, you will find it more your speed. I installed in 15 minutes.

NO stars - this release sucks! No installer - what?!@#$ Unzip a bunch of loose files, and so where are they supposed to go? Spell it out, please or have you ever heard of screen shots? How do I get the toolkit templates installed into Visual Studio 2005? Please, please, please quit making me read so much drivel that tells me nothing. Get this is what you need, do this, put it here, etc.only 10 2go
